Game Recap

Parkway held a 61-44 lead midway through the 3rd, but Warren Peterson Academy stormed back with 29 points in the 4th Quarter to tie the game at 79 at the end of regulation. Parkway had a 4 point lead in overtime, but Warren Peterson Academy drained a pair of threes to take a 1-point lead with 30 seconds to go. Senior Guard Jacob Joye split a pair of free throws to tie the game at 88-88 with just 10 seconds to go, but WPA made a pair of free throws on the ensuing possession to take a 2-point lead with just 9 seconds to go. Parkway Christian’s last-second 3-pointer came up short.

Parkway finished the game shooting 34-of-113 from the field and 12-of-69 from the 3-point line.
