Game Recap

On Monday night the Parkway Christian Eagles won their second straight game by beating the Auburn Hills Christian Cougars 77-31 in a Non-League Match-up. Parkway took control of the game early by knocking down three 3-pointers in the opening Quarter to take a commanding 22-6 lead.
From there, the Eagles’ offense exploded for an amazing 35 Points in the 2nd Quarter alone. Senior Jacob Joye scored 10 of his 12 points in the 8:00-stretch. Junior Guard Austin Fuller buried three 3-pointers during the Quarter as well. By the end of the 1st half Parkway Christian had made 9-of-28 3-pointers, and also registered 17 steals.The Eagles opportunistic defense forced 22 turn overs in the 1st half of play, which helped build their lead to 57-14.
In the 2nd half, the Eagles played with a running clock for the 2nd straight game. They outscored the Cougars 20-17 to cap off a 77-31 victory.

Parkway Christian scored a season-best 48 points in the 1st half against Huron Valley Lutheran, and then topped that on Monday night by scoring 57 points in the 1st half against Auburn Hills Christian.
