Here is the latest information from the MHSAA regarding the current Winter Sports shutdown. More details from the MHSAA will be given on December 22nd. Dear MHSAA Community, With the announcement from the Governor’s office and MDHHS, along with today’s Representative Council meeting, here is the updated MHSAA plan for fall, winter and spring sports.

Today, December 7th, Governor Whitmer and the MDHHS have extended the “pause” on high school and middle school sports through December 20th. Parkway Christian continues to look forward to seeing all sports seasons played and completed. The MHSAA Representative Council will meet on December 9th to chart a plan for restarting Winter Sports.
The Representative Council of the MHSAA approved Wednesday, that if permitted by the MDHHS, practice will resume for Winter Sports on December 9th. Winter competition will begin January 4th.

MHSAA Coronavirus Updates March 12, 10 am: Postseason events sponsored by the Michigan High School Athletic Association and scheduled for March 12-14 will be conducted as scheduled. However, attendance will be restricted at all events through this weekend, with updates to be announced Monday, March 16, for the remainder of the girls and boys basketball tournaments.
